This is without question one of the top 5 courses I have ever played in Canada and certainly one of the most unique.  It’s been over 10 months now and I still go back in my mind and replay the round on many occasions (especially the good shots).  Critique of this course would simply be lost on the spendour, history and idealic piece of property which VGC enjoys.  It was the best course I experienced in 2018, and it may be some time before I play a course I’ll enjoy more.  There were moments on tee boxes where I wish would not end; where I was savouring the tranquility and the natural beauty.  But equally impressive is the rich history which the course promotes exceptionally well on their website and is on full display in the clubhouse.  Thanks to the staff and the members for a golf experience that I will never forget!

Mildly addicted to the game of golf. Fiercely loyal. A planner, a dreamer, reflective and a proud and passionate Canadian. A father. A fiancé. A tree planter. A Trent graduate. A dog owner. Falling in love with my putter after many failed relationships. A scratch golfer stuck in a 10 handicap body. Love, love, love golf value. Fade on a good day. One ace (and seeking a second). A golf writer/blogger focused on public golf in Canada. Chipping away at my own Bucket List of Canadian golf courses.
