Here it is, my most popular post from the past year.  My response to the SCOREGolf Top 100 Course List generated considerable interest.  People have strong opinions on course lists, and specific courses on (or off) these lists.

I love them; they generate buzz and conversation about the game.  While I respect the critical concerns about these lists, anytime we’re talking about the game and about great courses in Canada to me that is positive thing.

The work that Jason Logan and his team at SCOREGolf do around this biannual listing is impressive.  I, like many, am eager to see courses which rise, fall or are new to the list.  This list has helped inform my own Bucket List of Canadian Courses.

Make your own list of courses you want to play.  And if you have thoughts on course ranking lists, let me know.  I am always happy to engage around this!

Best wishes for a healthy and happy, and golf filled 2019.  Keep it in the short grass.  Get out and experience new courses in Canada and enjoy this fabulous game.  I look forward to engaging with you over the next year and thank you all for your continued support of this blog.  Cheers!

Mildly addicted to the game of golf. Fiercely loyal. A planner, a dreamer, reflective and a proud and passionate Canadian. A father. A fiancé. A tree planter. A Trent graduate. A dog owner. Falling in love with my putter after many failed relationships. A scratch golfer stuck in a 10 handicap body. Love, love, love golf value. Fade on a good day. One ace (and seeking a second). A golf writer/blogger focused on public golf in Canada. Chipping away at my own Bucket List of Canadian golf courses.
